I dont care about the halo lights working at all and would really just rather clip the wire leading to the light and disable it permanently, but don't know which color to cut. Looked all over for a wiring guide that would identify the right wire.

I do not know about AlphaOBD, but one day I had truck at DEALER and tried to get turned off, according to Dealer they had no access and could not be turned off. Wired into/burned into BCM somehow, someway. The only thing I got for U.

Now on PO PO vehicles, they can be turned off because wiring system wired in that way to go dark. Like the Old Impala's had a switch on dashboard U could hit and black out all lighting. BUT this all depends upon how ordered, wat wiring blocks used and manufacturer.

ADDED: It would not surprise me if someone on here was smart enuf on stuff to have a way to go in and disable, all I can report is what dealer said.
