How do you guys keep track of maintenance and repairs on your trucks?

I'm probably around $28k to $30k at 143,000 kms by rough paper math. But I don't need to think about it once it's gone either, keeping track of repairs is useful both for you and the guy you might sell it to, but keeping track of gas does nothing other than remind you how painful it is to drive these things around.

I think you do a fair amount of towing too, no? What kind of MPG do you get?

Interesting. I get about 19 to 22 pulling similar size as your larger trailer, but I keep my speed around 105 ish and it's mostly on the flats too. It'll pull for hours at 2200 RPMs with brief spike ups to 2800 or 3700 when climbing a grade.

I’ve been trying to stay more organized with my truck — oil changes, parts replaced, repairs, mileage, all that.

Over time it’s gotten pretty scattered between receipts, notes, and photos on my phone.

Curious how you all keep track of everything long-term?

Do you just keep receipts, use a spreadsheet, apps, or not really track it much at all?

I’m starting to realize having everything in one place would make things way easier — especially for long-term ownership or when it comes time to sell.

I use Fleetvip from alembx. Keeps track of maintenance very well.

Even though my RAM is a 2015 I still keep records !
I use the Ultra High Tech wasy !
All receipts in a large folder lol

I have a notebook with the date, mileage, and what service or repairs were done for each vehicle. Receipts go in a file for that vehicle in the filing cabinet. I used to keep receipts in the glove box until I had mice get in one of my older vehicles and chew up the receipts to make a nest.

i have a notebook and I write everything down in it, I also have made sections with each year
