How does mopar.com know the mileage on my new Ram 1500

If you want to have fun sometime, walk into a meeting or crowded place and yell "Hey Alexa" "Hey Siri" play Bad to the bone.

I was an instructor for many years, and I would do that on day one, after I told the students to put their phones on silent. Worked every time.

As I understand it the only way they can communicate with your truck to know your mileage, start you car with your phone etc is if you have Ram connected services, its the only way Ram/FCA can get this information, that is unless you have had it serviced at a dealer or independent shop that send/reports it to carfax or you have been at the dealer for service of any kind or they hooked up to you Obd data port
