I’m solely referring to modding wise. When I was shopping for my first Ram I wanted basic so I wasn’t paying for things I wasn’t going to use. I ended up with a Bighorn, but kept options to a minimum so I could have my cake and eat it to lol.

Bone stock, got Exactly what I wanted. So blessed

2017 Ram Express. Added 20” rims, tires, big deflection 8.4 radio, auto AC, upper glove box, footwell lighting, engine lighting, cold air intake, catch can, center console, billstien 4x2 shocks, rough country front springs, bora 1 1/2 wheel spacers, rear billstien shocks, trailer hitch, led bed lights, custom decal, back badging, spyder halo projectors, upgraded cluster, bed cover and magnaflow outlaw muffler. Now a 2018 UAQ RADIO and led fogs.

MANY MORE I HAVE DONE AND UPGRADED THE UPGRADES.

Remote start, 2in level and wheels and tires. Next on the list will be removing that damn uconnect 5.0 and adding steering wheel controls. I cannot stand that radio.

Leveled and painted stock wheels black.
Added 33’s and a light bar. Half the price and twice as nice.

Also added a sound system to the stock head unit and LED lights all around.
MY FAVORITE PART is the work truck flooring. My wife spilled her smoothie all over the passenger floor so I took the water hose to it!


Bet ya can’t do that in a Laramie lol

nice! check under that vinyl from time to time. the crevices near the door trim will let water seep in under the vinyl flooring. would hate to see it rust!

My last Ram was a black SLT with chrome bumpers. Took me a few months to get used to the painted bumpers...maybe that's why I added so many chrome accessories to this one...hey, it's a big change going from black-and-chrome to all white.

My main criteria when I bought my 2017, aside from price, was cloth seats (did not want leather again), had to have 20 inch wheels again (they ride sooo fine), and no center console (my right leg needs extra room). I intentionally did not want a bunch of extra bells and whistles that could break...I hate spending time at the dealer and I'm getting too old to enjoy fixing it myself.

My choices when I bought mine were a hemi express for 28k or a v6 Laramie for 35k. I loved the Laramie but for 7k I could do a lot of stuff I wanted and get the hemi. I've mostly done lift tire and looks stuff so far. But I plan on back up cam, upgrading stereo and maybe katskinz.

I'm fine with quad cab. Don't really care if rest passengers are super comfy considering I don't usually have them. Plus I've drove 6 people multiple times and nobody complained

My BigHorn did not come with a backup camera, so we added one. Worked perfectly and was nice and cleanly installed.

I loved mine. My wife was like there is nothing to this truck! It didn't even have keyless entry believe it or not!

I put in
7" touch screen DVD player
2 10" subs / amp
component speakers in each door
back up camera
keyless entry with remote start
AMP steps
Thuren Suspension
painted the bumpers and grill
roof lights
wheels and tires
New fog light bumper (painted it too)
bed liner
bedcover
20% window tint
roll down and roll up window modules for all four doors

When I was done - could not tell it was a basic truck... other than interior..

but I used that truck offload - so it was nice to have vinyal seats and NO carpet!
