How far have you taken your Express or Tradesman ?

I bought my Express new to fill my basic needs - crew cab, 4x4 & V8. I added in a couple options that I felt were requirements (3.92, anti-spin). I also went with the Black Ram Express package for some coolness. I got it for about 33k in 2014 - best bargain I could find out of Ram, Chevy & Ford for what I wanted. I had to special order it because most of the trucks in dealership lots all had a lot of options that I didn't need and didn't want to pay for. I don't have all the bells and whistles, but I knew that I'd be modding it and could just add things later if a need arose.

I agree as I tried to mod my neighbors quad cab, but with the four of them and his one son being huge it wasn’t big enough. I’m surprised with it being just you and your gf that you didn’t get a regular cab.

been there, done that. no reg cab for me ever again. lol

OEM backup cam

Upgraded to the 8.4" RA4 radio

VR & phone module on sterring wheel

Audio controls on the back of the wheel

LED bed lighting (Red) with a switch in bed

LED Tail lights

OEM black step bars

Bilstine 5100 level at +2.8"

1.5" rear coil spacers

OEM Tow hooks

Mag-Hyteck extra capacity xsmn pan with cooling finlets& drain plug.

Upgraded fluids to Redline ie... Engine , xsmn & the both Differentials.

Pretty sure I'm missing something ?

I think black pillar looks good on the quad cab in some colors.

My ‘17 SLT 2wd V6 8 speed. I did the “B” pillar delete. My truck is Silver, I like with out the black pillars.

I got a V6 Quad Express (no kids so size is fine) came with 20" tires, tow package, camera and phone integration (5.0 head unit) cloth seats. I got it because the price was too good to pass up and I wanted to customize it to the level I wanted. Since December last year I have added:

Deezee Bed Mat

Not done yet but have mostly the big ticket items left so I will have to slow down and save up for those. I'd much rather get a truck for 20 to $30K less and put 5 to $8K into to get exactly what I want and make it my own. I think the Express or maybe one level up is a great place to start with the RAMS.

They never made a 4 door rt crew. Took my express and slowly making it the way I want it. I really didn’t want the 8.4 radio cause I didn’t like how the blower controls were in it.

Added painted door handles, led tails, center console,glove box, under dash lights, sport door panels, upgraded cluster, rt badge and some tints.

I hated chrome so the big horn was a no go. Either the sport or the express and I wasn’t paying 50k for a truck.
