It seems that every other day, there is a thread on broken manifold bolts. On average, how long do they last before breaking? Is this something we can all expect to address at 50,000 , 60,000, 70,000 miles? Just trying to get an idea, as headers are looking better and better every day, once the truck is out of warranty.

Hemi is mostly aluminum, but has steel exhaust manifolds. Dis-similar metals heat and cool differently. Bolts are the weakest link, but the process may lead to warping manifolds as well. I had my right manifold replaced under warranty at about 30K. You can't miss the symptoms, a tick when cold that slowly goes away as engine warms.

Hemifever tune, Vararam CAI, and 180 t stat was the first things I did to my truck a little over month ago . With these few things it really woke the truck up, you won't regret you decision.

I've read quite a few trends on hear and it seems a lot of peoples start to fail between 40,000 and 60,000 miles. I just put ARH long tubes on about three days ago and my bolts already looked in pretty crappy shape with only 13,000 miles on my truck.

I'm sure every truck will be different. I just had to replace one last weekend and I've got just shy of 105,000 on my '09.
