I have a 2015 2500 with the alpine system and 8.4
I am wanting to just drop some new speakers in the doors for now. I'm going to do a full system upgrade later in the winter when I have more time. For now I just want to put a 6x9 or 6.5 in the front doors as I have already replaced the dash 3.5s. I just am not sure what the RMS watts going to each door are. I want to utilize the stock amp as fully as possible so I just need to know where my cutoff is between wasting money for reason and buying crappy speakers

If I recall correctly the Alpine system is also not a 4 ohm speaker setup.
