I just got my 3" Rough country suspension lift installed but i want more height. I dont wanna go buy a 6" Because i just bought the 3"And i dont want to do the modifications for 6". How could i add more height? Ive heard about spacers or add a leafs, not really sure what they are. Any other ways? Explanations? The best brand or site to buy from? Thanks!

Thought about it, but i heard they make the ride stiffer, ive only rlly heard negative things about them. Dont look good, rougher ride, gap(could buy a filler for it though), and theyre hard to find for 2wd...?

How does a BL add to a rough ride????

Have a 3in BL on my 98 with never an issue. Got a Performance Accessories one. I dont regret it.

As far as gaps go. The front is already covered and if you dont have rear wheel well liner now you should get them anyways. They will not only clean up the look of the rear but hid any gap from a BL.

From what you said in your OP BL sounds like your best choice.

Theres really no other way to add to the front unless you go with 6 inch. Youre only choice is a body lift, 3 inch or you could always do 1 inch

Okay, ill look into that :) As long as it rides no different as you say. And as far as the wheel well cover, i dont have one. So do you suggest buying a pair? Or buying a gap guard to cover the space with the body lift? And hows the installation of the Body Lift? Could i do it or should i take it to a specialty shop?

Body lift isn't hard to install. Can be done by yourself easier with a extra set of hands.

it has no effect on suspension. All it does is replace the blocks from the factory between the body and the frame with 3in taller ones.

Get OEM wheel well cover from ebay, you can get them for less then $100 and its very worth it. If you look at pics of the gap guards they dont look any better then no gap guards. Still look odd. The OEM liners will make it looks seamless and factory.

I had mine installed for $400 but if I were going to do now I would do it myself. You will need a couple friends and a jack or something but its very doable.

I know you guys are gonna think I'm crazy...but when I put my BL on my 03, the ride did change some. I'm not the only crazy one either, many have said that. So to the OP, you heard right.

I know I know, its a body lift, its has nothing to do with the suspension. But you add 3" of solidness between your cab and you cushy cab mounts...it will make a difference. Nothing like adding a rough ass suspension lift...but it did make a difference in the ride.

To the OP...do the 3" body lift, I did one and never looked back. Just DON'T use the tire jack that comes with the truck to insall it. That WONT work. Get you a good floor jack, some 4"x4" post, hand full of tools, and get it done. Just read the instructions and don't skip any steps and you'll be golden. If you can change oil, tires, or brakes, you can do a BL. Most companys that sell body lifts have a PDF file you can download...do that, read the instructions, if its something you think you can do, then go for it

I did not notice it on my 3in bl but I trust Braydon so I guess its possible.

I also agree with him on the install. Going out and buy a jack and jack stands will be way cheaper then getting it installed. Just make sure your truck can be down for a few days if things dont go as planed. Take your time and fallow the instructions. Post with any extra questions and the mod will be even better because you did it yourself.

My dad has is oil changes done for him. So I dont know how I got the truck addiction but im self taught. I learn by doing.

I noticed a SLIGHT difference in ride quality when my brother did it to his truck. I couldnt tell if it was all in my head or just the fact that it was a higher that it seemed different. Its not something to complain about or change your decision about getting a body lift.

Its not like a "holy ****" difference, its just that something felt a little different. Its like what Braydon said earlier, you add solid blocks to the cushy mounts and that might make a difference. Not saying that it definitely did, just that it might have
