I did the zip tie method. I jacked mine up to give me a little extra gap in the springs. Pretty easy. Just had to run the lines. No squeaking on mine yet. I'm running them at 20psi since we are traveling and have the back full.

Ok, I'm a newbie to this, does the air lift come with a compressor to pump them up? Or do i have to carry one? What would be the difference in adding the factory air suspension?

Phillips Like my last picture shows just air it up like a tiny tire
And for all you do not have to take coils it was just a way I found to be easy for me and didn't want to run the risk of puncturing my bag with my luck I would have lol
And for the squeaks I used spray on PTFE and it went away doesn't mean you need this mine was a minor squeak on one of them

Didnt even takeshock bolt out jack the frame up until back tire is in air a little than remove black knub on top of bag flatten bag put black knub back on slide in coil and up than grab another *** and coke after all said and done switch to nextside

seems simple enuff.
I just ordered me a set of these, hopefully will have em in this weekend, have a long trip at the end of the month where i'll be towing my camper(33.3') , and haven't towed with my new ram yet (yeah, I bought these not knowing how it will do without em).

If you fold them how they tell you to its not a big deal getting them into the coils. I find the trickiest part is getting the line onto the barb on top of the bag after its in the coil.
I understand the bags don't increase payload/towing capacity, but they DO increase how well the truck handles loads within its limits. For pulling our trailer around the lot where we store it I don't even put on my WD bars and there is no sag!

My shorter (Land Rover Defender) bags will be here any day so I can lower the rear and finally get my trailer level for towing.
Then I'll have a set of gently used RAM airbags and never used lines/fittings available to someone close by

Yes at first I had a 3/4" rear coil spacer under the bottom of the coil, took it out and put a 1-1/2" coil spacer on top. The air line from the bag goes right through the middle of the spacer.

i just ordered a set and was wondering where you guys all put your valve stem at? i dont wanna just drill a hole somewhere and would also like to be able to reach the valve with a little 12v air compressor i have. pretty sure the cord wont make it to the rear bumper so i was thinking maybe in the fuel door or is that a bad ideal?

this made sense to me but been doin some reading and found if the "T" doesnt have a check valve in it to keep the air in the bags seperate when going around a corner or driving on uneven terrain air will travel from one bag to the other increasing body roll. any other opinions on this subject?
