hp loss with resonators removed

Hey guys,,i have a 2013 crewcab sport 5.7,,,i am getting a 14 inch magnaflow part #12198,, welded in on fri,i was thinking of removing the resonators,,but seen on another site where a guy with a jeep lost 23hp on the dyno,,,they were all stunned,,did anyone here if the hemi will lose any hp,,,thanks,,,this is my first post

I removed mine. Loss nothing/gained nothing but a lil sound...

how do you like your 14 inch magnaflow,,,is it much louder than stock,,,i seen some vids but hard to tell

I came from an '02 1500 w/ 3.7 v6 and a Flowmaster 40 series SI/DO exhaust.....

I dont like the magnaflow to be honest. I miss my rumble from the Flowmaster. Woulda put one on from the jump, but the truck came with it. Friends tell me my truck is quiet compared to my last truck. The 14 wakes up when you mash it.

Leaning towards a Flowmaster muffler to replace it, or an electric exhaust cutout.

yes I do like the sound of the flowmaster,,and the cherrybomb vortex,,but I have to haul around a 9000lb travel trailer,,it is my daily driver and the wife sometimes takes the truck,,,,the kids,,both boys are all for louder the better,,i kinda want to stay in between somewhere,,,,,just thought the magnaflow would be ok,,,thanks for the quick reply

No way doing anything to the exhaust will add nor lose 23 HP on an otherwise stock vehicle. 2-3hp, maybe.

I don't believe resonators would have any effect on horsepower at all because all they do is quite the exhaust a little.

By removing the resonators You ll have a little louder sound and that's it nothing else at all...
