So downloaded the CAT app on my phone and set up auto-pay on it so we will weigh my sons setup this week. Only problem is without the torsion bar tool we won't be able to disconnect the bars to get a true tongue weight with them unhooked. We should be in good shape though. He has 2973lbs of payload. I weighed mine last year and our trucks are identical with all the exact same options. Only differences are he has a toolbox in the bed and has aftermarket tires but they are stock size so shouldn't be enough difference to really matter. Add maybe 100lbs for toolbox and him and my step-father will be in the truck too so add about 375-400lbs for them. Mine weighed about 7250lbs with me in it and 1/2 tank of fuel so his with a full tank would be about 575-600lbs for the extra fuel, 2 extra people, and tool box. Should be about 7800lbs total for the truck itself and us. Those numbers won't match to the axle weights though because the WDH will be adding weight to it. Our max axle weights are 6500lbs rear and 5500lbs front and I'd be surprised if we are close to those. GVWR is 10,000. Even with 1200lbs tongue weight we should still only be about 9000lbs for both truck axles. Camper GVWR is 8495. I'm thinking we will be at about 8000lbs on the camper. Total should be about 17,000lbs. That's my prediction...lol. Will see how close I am.
