Hvac module

Maybe I'm missing something but I was looking for a cheaper hvac module then the ones I've seen for 400 and up and when I searched it ebay had a few for 90 bucks, says it's a module for my truck, am I missing something or is the ebay one that says its mopar parts just b.s

Unless this is a different module than I'm thinking of, $400 is way too much. The one on the passengers side dash by the lower glove box right?

I bought mine for 65 with shipping about 4 months ago. You have to search and make some phone calls but it is well worth it.

Price jumped on the 68268186Ax Module about 6-8 mos ago from $145 new. Some of the 14+ 1500 8.4 upgrade folks have been successful using the 2018 module

Would it be necessary to replace the HVAC module if we upgraded to a UAQ? My defroster will come on by itself (climate control is OFF), so I was thinking this may be a reason why.

For what it's worth with oem parts if a unusual amount seem to be selling they will up the price. I'am quessing to maintain supply and or to discourage option /trim upgrades.i've seen it a lot on grilles and on some parts you need a vin or they won't sell it.chevy did this wIth 4th gen camaro ss hoods.
