AC starts up fine, in a while I hear a slight popping sound it starts to blow hot air. I shut down ac and restart it might last 10 minutes or 30 minutes same problem. I have added 1 can of freon it was slightly low but still within psi range now is were it should about 310 psi. in the green, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

310psi??? Do you have a high and low gauge or are you just using one of the single gauges they sell at the auto parts store for charging a can of refrigerant?

When you say that shutting it down makes it start working again, how long are you shutting it down for before it comes back on?

You'll need to have a set of gauges to see both the high and low side pressures. Probably best to has a qualified shop look at this, the refrigerant charge is probably way off.
