So lately when I turn my heat on, I get a squeaking noise from the passenger side floor area. I’m assuming that’s where my motor is for the Heat. Higher up I turn it, the faster the squeak. How hard is it to change the fan motor?

Super easy. I just changed my own a couple weeks ago when mine started making noise too. Bought one at Rockauto. There are a lot of aftermarket ones you can buy. I attached a photo of the one I bought and haven't had any issues so far. Just make sure you buy the correct one. Manual and Auto climate have two different type of blowers. The one I attached is for a manual climate control.

All you do is:
1. Kill power
2. Remove carpet (3 or 4 plastic push pins)
3. Unplug wire harness from blower
4. Unscrew the 3 screws to remove the old blower
5. Look up in the cavity to see if you have any debris
6. Repeat steps 4, 3, 2, 1 in the opposite way
7. Donzo.

Also I didn't realize how easy adding a cabin filter was so I went ahead and ordered the parts to do this as well.

Thanks!

I can’t see your pic though. Yeah I’m probably gonna grab the part number from Dodge and order one. I installed an aftermarket one in my old Silverado and it blew up, literally black smoke everywhere, bought a Napa one and that one quit working in 2 months, and ended up getting an AC Delco

Four Seasons 75817 is the model I chose. I think VDC (spelling) had good reviews but I was in the middle of west coast to east coast and back to west coast road trip and only had a couple of days available for one to get to me.

I used a four seasons in my 15. It made a loud motor noise. I returned it and bought a replacement. Same thing. I ended buying a used factory one off of Ebay.
