a while ago, i purchased a set of 3157 amber (2) and red 3157 (2) for the front and rear turn signals, which also act as brake/parking lights.. only problem is when i hit the tun signals, either front or back, my evic tells me that my turn signals are out. I've heard that replacing the 'flasher' unit in my fusebox will help me solve this, or resistors will work.. what should i do?

JJ will chime in soon. But I think resistors are going to be your best bet.

There is no flasher in the new vehicles, it's all controlled by the TIPM so your only option is to use the resistors.
