That's interesting---and kinda useless since nobody ever drives like that. I want to see what this engine can do in normal conditions. A combined 25 mpg should be doable.

Hyper milling is actually pretty popular. Nice to see what it can do with out tapping body lines, removing mirrors and antennas and all the extremes some people go to.

Many PA highways speed limit I travel home have 55 mph speed limits so it isn't hard to travel at speeds like that without being dangerous

Yeah, didn't by a truck for mileage but you don't have to race from red light to red light either

Considering they most likely were carrying at least 2,000 lbs in weight they probably would have gotten to 40 mpg pretty easily with just a driver and passenger.

Its a term that hybrid owners came up with, google hypermiling prius and you should be able to find good examples of doing it.

still the only problem is he wants to drive 1000 miles at 55 miles an hour... i mean on a normal raod if you go under the speed limit(in louisiana) people run you off the road. when the speed limit is 55 mph it means go 65 or your dead meat!

to hyper mile something and drive at 55 miles an hour, i would kill myself. ill lose 3-4 mpg and drive at a decent speed.
