I cant find my ambient sensor

I just can't find it!

Several mechs and friends have been looking and no one can find it!

Where could the outside temp sensor be hidden? It is clear to me somewhere near the fresh air... we are too stupid to find it!

It's not in the mirror ... not at the front next to the headlight either ... not next to the radiator ... not in the bumper either ... not near the horn in the wheel arch either!

We are desperate... Car only shows -40 degrees with MKL and heats like hell

Someone else a tipp where I can look?????

yes.. i have aftermarket mirrors without sensors.. but i drive the mirrors since 5 years.. the -40 degrees problem is 1 month old

Sounds like whoever installed mirrors moved the sensor.
Maybe inside door panel since that is where the wiring for sensor is supposed to be

I agree with @crackerjack1957's post here. I have worked on a few trucks that had aftermarket power folding tow mirrors installed and the ambient temperature was relocated inside the door panel and zip tied to the harness. The aftermarket mirrors did not have the provision for the ambient temperature sensor.
