so, i placed an order with 4wheelparts for a set of chrome fuel hostage rims.i was told 2 weeks to delivery.i call them today to set up a time for install and i'm told they haven't even been shipped yet.2 more weeks.really?? i could have ordered them online with a few keystrokes. in this day and age they expect someone to wait a month for something that is not a need,more an impulse?? nobody buys rims because they "need" them. i filled out their online customer satisfaction survey.tommorrow i'm going in to get my $800. deposit refunded and ordering them online direct just on principle. if brick and mortar stores keep this **** up,amazon,etc. will eat you alive.

I ordered my rims from anthemwheels.com and they were at my house within 10 days. And they're sales staff were awesome contacted me thru email to discuss my order and make sure they were the right fit for my truck.

I feel your pain dude....I waited an extra month after being told a delivery date for my wheels and tires. Finally I told the shop order me a different set of wheels because my original choice kept getting pushed back. They were literally sitting on a ship at the port.

I had my new wheel choice within a week. Rediculous.

Ordered my set from Custom Offsets with TPMS and wheels installed, mounted, and balanced - 14 days from order to my door. Yanked the old ones off, and tossed the new ones on that same day.

Stopped doing business with them years and years ago.... Horrible service, know it all's that don't know how to even install a air filter (store dependent)
The ones near me got to be like car salesmen just trying to sell you parts you didn't need like they were on commission.

I find Summit is a great resource for part of all sorts and if not summit I go to Amazon... just easier cause there are very few speed shops or 4wheel sops anymore in my area.

Oh yeah, and years ago I had them install a leveling kit on my '04 Dodge 4x4... after a couple days of driving, I kept hearing a clunking sound in the front left, so took a look under... they hadn't bothered to re-install one of the bottom shock bolts (or failed to tighten and it fell out). Took it back and they told me to basically pound sand.

Dang bolt was $35 to replace too.

And that's why I installed my own leveling kit on this truck.

I also try to do most of my own work to my truck. Little more gratifying. But I'm about to have my buddy hook up my electrical to my light bar I'm about to install. I want to have a on/off/on with high beam switch and I'm lost there.

You are right in this day and age of getting things out the door=satisfied customers=MOAR business. I ordered a pair of headlights from Jermey at RS Wednesday last week, they shipped Friday and arrive to me tomm 2/3 way across country. Thats pretty dang good for custom built to order. But I love my Amazon Prime, hell $4-8 for overnight? Hell yea!

I ordered light westin light bar and tow hooks off amazon the same day I ordered light bar from auxbeam. Tow hooks and westin light bar came in yesterday. Today I get a email from auxbeam saying what I ordered is on back order. That ****** me off. Installed hooks and bar when I got home from work. Here's before and after.
