Not really.
But what other bolt on mods can I do easy for more power.
Still feel too sluggish on the gas pedal, yeah I know my trucks heavy as ****..

I have a CAI
FLowmaster 10 series
and im using SCT from hemifever 87 tune..
will switching to 91 tune make a huge difference.

I have no plenum leak and I just changed out my spark plugs and rad fluid.
I wouldn't mind being able to spin my tires by just slamming on my gas :D

91 tune will make a pretty decent difference.

headers, throttle body, and 4.56 gears would be a good upgrade. you prolly have 3.55 gears.

M1 manifold, nice gains. Loose a little down low but up top pulls strong. Or you can pick up a modded kegger with cut runners.

1.7 rockers, 52mm tb, and retune.

if you are looking for tire shredding power i wouldnt suggest the m1 as it moves the power band up in the rpms.

If he geared it, it would be fine. Also why I mentioned a modded kegger if you dont want to go too extreme.

You really need some gears...none of the bolt on mods will really jump things up without them. Or a supercharger...BTW incremental mods will only give you incremental results. Real torque or horsepower costs.

I'd start with the 1.7 rockers and a 50 mm throttle body with the 91 tune.

Then start looking for a SS/T, tow package truck or Indy Ram with a 3:92 geared rear. Swap it in.

If you can't spin your tires with that, a 125 or 250 shot of Nitrous oughta get it. :)

After your tires are torn to shreds from driving over the shrapnel from the blown engine move up to a stroker or Cummins.

Either will cause some loss in low end. Personally I dont like hughes as a person from MANY stories I've heard. Regardless, if you chose not to mod the kegger and go aftermarket, gears and a tune will help with overall performance.

If you can't spin your tires with that, swap in a 360 or cummins.

I'd also agree with 3.92s.

so true. a heavy ram is way different to get moving than a light dakota. my buddies dak with less stuff is quicker than my truck.

Meaning him as a person. Some of his work isnt so great. I know a few guys who have ran both and went m1 every time. Have you ran an m1 before?

yep. nice. m1 for sure improvement over stock. the only thing i dont like about the airgap is the brackets are kinda cheesy, but they work, and havent had any issues with them. and he is a ass.

(edit)i borrowed the m1 off my buddy for a few to compare.

As long as it works lol. Yea I love the m1, and didn't notice too much of a low end loss but that was in a dak. Haha, yea I bought ported heads from him a few years back before I went on forums. Was a little upset after i heard about him. Truck pulled strong though.
