That's a different story. I'm betting he still has the Chevy engine in it.....? Didn't try to run a hemi in the GM architecture?
The ZF is ridiculously easy to retrofit into anything. With the TCM in the valve body all you have to do is give it the inputs it requires after mounting & driveshaft/t-case arrangement. I've seen an 8HP70 hooked to a LA318 2 bbl and I've seen a big block Chevelle with one.
