GM, Ford or Dodge...they are all on par w/ each other. I have had all of them over the yrs. Neither 1 is any better or any worse. They each have their pros & cons like well...dodge transmissions until the 8 speeds. The 545 in my old 04 is the SOLE reason that I got rid of the truck & refused to own another Dodge for quite a while. Once I added power I couldnt keep a trans in the damn thing

That is a nice Ford btw.

Its a nice truck, it has the 5.0 v8. Mild add ons. It drives smooth, tight, but i wouldnt buy one. Dont like the interior, the dash/stereo layout. Seat on this on are not comfy. Now for how it performs, has no power and cant find what gear it wants... ride is nice drivability not so nice. I also figured the 5.0 would have more nuts like it mustang counterpart. Plus im no real hater, i own 2 chevys 2 fords and 2 dodges. And if im lucky ill add another mopar this weekend if i find a 72-74 cuda worth buying.

This is the same thing for me; I can't stand the F150 but I love the Super Duty line and aside from dealing with the same emissions issues as every other modern diesel my '13 F350 6.7L CC/LB and '13 F250 6.2L CC have been impecable. I like the new GM HD line as well but their 1500 left me lackluster in every category except ride quality but I think I'm jaded over half-ton power these days.

Yup, cant beat the hemi. I'm a fan of the 6.7l powerstroke over the newer 6.7l cummins but i will take a 12v-5.9l common rail over the others. We had a 2011 f450 king ranch on the farm that i drove back from arizona. Became a fan with that drive. All of the trucks have come a long way in the past 6 years.

No! Just NO! I bet you drink Miller Lite and think its flavorful?!

Each brand is distinctly different. I would never (again) own a Gubm'nt motors POS. Ferd is okay, but just okay. I don't want any high maintenance turbo-ed six banger.

No! Just NO!....I drink Bud Light and think it taste just swell. Lol

I stick by what I said. But hey opinions are like a-holes right? I like all of the big 3, now Nissan & Toyota...well to quote you...No! Just NO!

Here is 1 way of looking at it...all 3 have had poor trans options over the last 20 yrs until now, trucks w/ driveshafts that like to take flight and V8 motors that all are w/ in the same power range but have tame tunes in them from the factory.

NOW the Fords are expensive & shred to pieces when they get small dents, the Rams are decently priced but cant hold much weight in the back w/o airbags due to the rear coils and GM's have unlimited aftermarked support but are just outragously priced
