Ignition switch/Key Fob

So I have a 2008 Ram 3500 diesel it won't start with the key but starts with the automatic start. I replaced the ignition switch and still won't work and I replaced the battery in my key fob. Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

OEM or after market remote start?

OEM: Ignition switch would have been my first like you, bring it to the dealer?
After Market: try removing the remote starter? May be spliced inline and causing the issue.

I’m guessing it’s factory remote start.

Sounds to me like it’s some kind of problem with the immobilizer system, either with the chip in the key or the receiver ring around the ignition switch.
