Hi All, I'm installing a IHC 3/5 drop on my 2012 express rcsb 2wd. My budget tells me I need to stay with my existing 20 inch wheels, but I need new tires for sure. What size would fit without rubbing? My stock size is 275/60/20 at 33 inches tall. I was thinking 285/50/20? Those would be 31.2 inches tall. Anyone have pictures with that size or similar too would be awesome. Thanks!

Picture before the drop. Also what are these wheels from? I'm pretty sure they are not 2012.

At 3 down in the front a 31 inch tire should not rub.

I'm 4 down in the front with a 31 and I have to really hit hard to rub ..I can and have made it happen but it has to be hard and fast. At normal speeds it never happens.

I'm running a 285/40/22.

Your wheels are Laramie wheels, available on 2016 models, maybe other years.

Don't forget to adjust speedometer to new tire size. And post pics when completed so we can oogle with you
Here's a picture of it completed. I installed the rear kit first and put the springs in uncut (so 4" drop) and decided I like it as is. Then decided on 2" drop springs in front instead of the 3" lowering control arms (for sale in the sale forum if anyone wants a good deal). Went with 275-55-20 in front and 305-50-20 in back, both are 32" tall. No rubbing driving and at full lock and I really like the stance and look with these tires.

Looks great. How do you like the shock relocation brackets and where did you get those?
Great fit and function. I'm very happy with them. I bought them from a facebook forum member that makes them. I think he's a member on here. I'll contact him and see if he can chime in here.

To anyone interested in the shock brackets. I’m the guy that gets them made. I don’t have access to the “For sale” page as I rarely get on here anymore. But if anybody is interested in them. Shoot me a email at [email protected] it might take a few days for me to answer but once I do, I’ll give you my number for texting.
