Rant on. lol i have been looking for months to find an AWABS module for my truck. It is impossible to find. I have found 1 in the last 6 months. I can't find this thing anywhere. Salvage yards don't keep them. Don't have any pick and pull yards around. If anyone can find one please let me know. it just kills me with all the Rams around here I can't find this one Freaking module. I'm not going to go to the stealership because the part itself is $400. Screw that.

Does anyone know by chance if there were different brands of the AWABS Modules?? I have a Kelsey Hayes but I have heard talk about another brand but I can't think of the name.

Ok Rant over. Thanks for listening.

Not exactly. I looked at that one earlier. It is a RWABS. I need one for the All Wheel. Apparently that was a very rare option.

I'm goin to a pick and pull this weekend to "hopefully" get a set of black sport bumpers for my truck. I'll keep an eye out for that module while I'm there

Yeah post up a pic. And I'll check on one while I'm at work and see what I can get it for. Luckily, no one can say anything about me buying a part under my discount for a 2nd gen lol

One lists for $450 and I get it for $330 and the other lists for $512 and I get it for $375. It's not much but it might save yoiu a little money if you wind up having to go through a dealer

I might be mistaken, but I believe the salvage yards wont sell them due to liability issues...I think going through Tx is your best bet, without having to take yours out and have it rebuilt...

Now that you mention it, I remember hearing something like that last time I talked to the guy that owns a local salvage yard

Mine went out on my S10 and I just disconnected it so the brake light on the cluster would stop flashing...it was RWAL though, which is garbage and useless IMO...it keeps the real wheels from locking up, while you try to steer your car/truck out of harms way with the front tires locked up to hell and back....

Yea rwal is about pointless. I may go the rebuild option its a he'll of a lot cheaper. Dam dealer only parts. Thnks for checkin for me. But that one part is mire than my entire christmass budget lol. Ill just leave it unplugged for now. Ill check again in the spring

Well with it unplugged it goes to manual brakes. So its not as bad as it sounds.
