I have a 2020 Ram 2500 Big Horn, that when I connect up a gooseneck trailer I receive the message of Incompatible Trailer and Blind spot will not work. I cannot select the trailer to get the message to go away. I do not have this problem when I connect up a bumper pull only when I connect a gooseneck. Is there something in the programming that will cause this message. I have tried different trailers and also even changed the plug on one trailer to see if there was a problem there, I have also moved the trailer connection from inside of the bed to the bumper to see if that would make it difference. Any suggestions of what might be causing this?

It's likely just a stock safety/liability message to warn you the normal blind spot monitoring won't work. The word "incompatible" could be better and not so alarming that you are doing something wrong but we can thank the lawyers for that.

The problem with that is No other person that I know has that problem, it keeps flashing incompatible trailer. I can tell the system that the trailer is a conventional trailer and have no problems and everything works. I cannot list it as a gooseneck though without this alarm.
