Anyone bought from Infotainment? Just got a 2020 Big Horn 5.7 with the base 5" system. I'd like to upgrade to the 8.1" UAM. Any info or comments are appreciated
Thanks in advance
David

Seen a few threads on these forums where folks bought stuff from them but came here for technical support. Seems like their folks couldn't solve the issue. Their support does not seem to justify the high prices they charge.

It's buyer beware with that company. You can expect to pay at least twice what it's worth if you can figure out how to do it yourself with the help of the wonderful members here on the Forum.

I second that comment 100%. Selling a radio as refurbished and saying it's programmed to your particular truck when it's basically cleaned and then re sold with the 4 digit anti theft code that anyone can get is dishonest in my opinion. 99.9% of what they sell to unsuspecting buyers was figured out and developed on this forum including the harnesses to make it all work. They used to be able to charge rediculous prices for their Genie because we didn't have the Alfa tool yet. Now that we have the Alfa tool that does leaps and bounds more than the Genie people aren't forced to spend that much on such a simple product. I know we are still figuring out the 5th gen trucks but if you have a 4th gen having your harness built by M2mods who is a vendor on this forum and has helped develop a lot of this and buying your radio from ebay or a junkyard is definitely the way to go.
