My DEF gauge is accurate but it did have a short failure where it went to zero for a few miles and gave the limp mode warning but it reset after a few minutes of driving. I was curious so I purchased a Innova 5610 scanner. For DEF, it has several live PIDs that I can get accurate readins such as DEF temperature, DEF quality. But, the DEF level stays at 0%. Should the Innova 5610 read the DEF level or is that parameter blocked without the secure gateway software? Guage moved from half to full when I added two gallons so it seems the pump and sending unit is working.
