Engine light came on, read code P203B –00. In reading about this, it seems the most likely causes are a failed sensor, faulty wiring, or overfill or freezing. It is possible I overfilled when I filled it at the pump a few days ago.
DEF gauge reads zero. When the power is turned on it spikes to full and then drops back down to and stays at zero
I removed a little DEF fluid, probably about a quart, from the fill inlet on the side of the tank. Error condition persisted.
This happened while we were traveling. I drove 270 miles home without issue. Did not get any warning about putting the vehicle into crawl mode.
Any suggestions on troubleshooting techniques greatly appreciated. Would like to avoid the dealer shakedown if possible. Thanks!
