Input on tires

I am sitting on 3 kumho venture at's and my spare. One of those just busted open on the freeway on my drive to work this week and I am looking to replace that awful excuse of a tire for something better. I only say that it's awful because 5 months earlier I had a set of mismatch tires on another truck and the kumho happened to be one of them. It was not all that worn, in fact it was the knobbiest tire (don't laugh) on that truck and it ALSO blew out on the freeway. I wasn't driving fast or anything!!

ANYWAY I have narrowed it down to two choices

These cooper tires that I bought for my old truck and were just awesome knobby thick tires. Also they have a 55k mile warranty, which I loved

Or these terra grapplers... I know nothing about them... lol I've heard good things about them but don't really know if they're like the basic nitto tire or something or if they wear down quickly...

What I'm really asking is how you guys feel about the nittos? Should I just stick with the coopers that I KNOW will perform or should I dish out a few extra bucks for the nittos?

I love the coopers because of the tread and the patter, just an all around awesome tire.

I love my terras. I'm on the 2nd set on my truck. I replaced the first set at almost 50k and could have easier got another few thousand miles out of them. Never had any issues with them, just rotated every 6k miles and they lasted great.

Thanks for the input! I'm gonna get em tomorrow... I'm leaning towards the terras right now so that's probably what I'll end up getting

Bought a set if the Terra Grapplers for my Titan just a little over 3 months ago, the. Traded the truck last week!

But- in my shot time with them. LOVED them and WILL one day by more. Great tire.

Alright! I'm feeling like I made a good choice. They're putting them on the truck right now and I can't wait to see how they perform.

I was a little iffy on the tread depth but the tech showed me that they were all basically the same.

Needless to say, I'm excited.
