Inside door open handle replacement

Anybody got instructions on replacing the inside door open handle?

Bought some chrome ones for my Tradesman and the connecting rod and top screw removal I get. It is getting the bottom part out without breaking the plastic mount on the inner door plastic shield I am having problems with.

I am about to try the samething and having the same trouble. Did you swap them yet? Planing on replacing them tomorrow would love some advice before I get started.

So I figured out how to remove the interior door handle. I used a saws-all. Seriously!!! This is the only way to get it off that I have found, you will not brake anything and it was super easy cutting it off. Including new door panels this mod cost me about a grand! Not recommended!
