wipe it off with a dry rag, then get a plain mr. clean magic eraser and scrub the windshield. Dry it off with a microfiber towel then clean it with a good glass cleaner.

Hey, I realise this is an old topic, but it's new to me, and it appears that no one can answer this simple question; I've looked everywhere, and all I've seen are guesses and trials, with no solutions! So I searched my truck from the coolant to the cabin filter top up and replaced even an inch break in my windscreen with newer following these still no luck still foggy half of my windscreen Last but not least, I failed to inspect my engine air filter. It wasn't bad, but as I reversed it, I noticed lines of glue? Like a divider, the filter appears hard and not flexible, unlike a recent Acdelco filter. So i put this acdelco filter on and next day i dont i dont have anymore foggy windshield just pay attention on you engine air filter

Sorry but the engine and filter would have absolutely no effect on the inside air. All the air that passes it goes directly into the engine.

You want the glue lines. They help keep the pleats separated when the engine is sucking air thru them. Otherwise they will slightly close/collapse reducing air flow
