Instrument cluster issues

So I have looked high and low for answers to what's going on with my cluster. So I'll put this out to anyone that can help. I have a 1997 ram 2500 v10 8.0l and the cluster has been having issues. The only gauges on it that work are oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge. The OD light is on however it does shift into OD. I pulled cluster to find that there were only 2 wiring harnesses plugged in to it and there is a 3rd location for a harness (black with 6 pin slots) behind the tach that had nothing going to it. When I put it all back together it worked for a SHORT time. Now I have it out again and am trying to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this? Do I just need to send the cluster to get rebuilt?

My guess is that some terminals in the connection may be slightly oxidized or loose. But that's just a guess.
I would use deoxIT and finish up deoxIT gold on it. I use it on a lot of things.
