I got under my truck yesterday to check out how close my tires were to my front end components when the steering was turned one way or the other and noticed a tiny oil droplet on the area between my transmission and engine. I followed it up to the top rear of the engine and found that the right rear corner of my intake manifold gasket is leaking. It must have just started because there is no oil in my driveway where I park. I only have 50k miles on this thing. My 07 had 154k miles at trade-in and it never once leaked oil. Anyone else experienced this with a 5.7 Hemi?

Make sure its not the intake.manifold itself... i did gaskets thinking I'd resolve.my issues... leak was at the passenger rear ...didn't help ended up swapping a spare intake manifold I had ...mine pooled on that bolt and into the injector holeac2a1294ac9970cc708dba8d502b7087.jpg

Mine has the exact oil leak. So small it has just been collecting on some cardboard I have until I can install my 6.4 manifold. Hopefully going to fix bad injectors and leaking intake in one swoop. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Going to try to get to it this weekend.

So was yours an actual crack in the manifold then?

Yup.. it would leak down the side of the block where the trans meets.. I thought it was also causing me this metallic tin type noise under load(vaccum leak is what I assumed...but that was coming from the driverside ...still haven't figured that out...not exhaust manifold bolt or lifters im certain
