Just bought a 98 with 5.9L and noticed the intake tube was zip tied to the coolant reservoir. Cut it and tried to put it back to the fender, and it pops off one end or the either. Aren't there supposed to be clamps to hold it in place? It just slips on the air cleaner, and as soon as I connect it to the fender it pops off, or vice versa. Any idea how I could get it to stay?

How far off is it? There is no strap or clamp for it. Is it possible you have a bad motor mount causing the throttle body to be further away from the passenger fender?

Its not that it doesn't reach, I can connect both ends but then one side will pop off with very little effort. Its just like there is nothing holding it in place?

Mine does the same from time to time. It's simply because it's plastic and was bent like that to be a CAI for a while, so that stressed the plastic on it.

The side that fits into the fender should be quite snug (at least it is on mine). The side connected to the throttle body is loose on almost every ram I see.
As far as correcting it, maybe try gently using a heat gun to reform it.
