2014 Laramie 2500 will not let me select “Heavy Electric " option via EVIC arrow buttons on steering wheel. Display shows “Light Electric” but I cannot make it change.

2014 Laramie 2500 will not let me select “Heavy Electric " option via EVIC arrow buttons on steering wheel. Display shows “Light Electric” but I cannot make it change.

Do you have a trailer connected to the truck and the trailer wiring plug when you're trying to make the change?......cause I can't change anything in mine unless I have a trailer plugged into the rear bumper.
