Interior light question

Potentially stupid question but is there a way to have the brightness all the way up on the dials and such without the dome light coming on when a door is opened?

Obviously didnt know if there was a switch or keydance or something like that

Not thinking so, unless you do something to disconnect the dome light from the dial completely when you don't want it on.

lol, i think the only way to accomplish that without cutting wires is to take out the dome light as well.... unless you figure out how to put the dome light on a seperate switch of some sort.

why not just put in a toggle switch wired up to dome lights

theres a wire that you can cut behind the dimmer i forget which one though. maybe black/purple? dont remember 100% though
