Looking to do an interior upgrade on my 4th gen 1500 Laramie's interior. I've got the full center console and like it, but I like the 5th gens console better and I'd ideally be upgrading the radio to the uconnect5 system at the same time. Infotainment has the full system for the radio upgrade but I've seen it can be done cheaper and I'd prefer that route however every post I read has all the information and part numbers scattered to high heaven if someone could give me a list of they still remember that would be great. And I've seen posts about the center console swap but haven't seen definitive answers on the USB ports if you've done it do they work properly? Can they be used for wired Android Auto with the upgraded radio, I know that that it'll have wireless but my phone is plugged in most of the time I'm in my truck so why not benefit from it? I have Alfaobd on Android and a connector and have already used it to do the DRL to Amber swap so I'm comfortable doing stuff with it but links to good write ups or instructions would be helpful and welcome. What all can be upgraded in the interior to 5th gen stuff and programmed in successfully? Thanks.
