Intermittent left front blinker

As the title states, some times my left front blinker works normally as in it blinks at the normal rate on the indicator inside the truck and the exterior light blinks as expected.Every once in a while I get the warning on the instrument panel that it's not working and I verified it's not working and the indicator on the dash flashes at twice the normal rate. I have a new bulb to install but it's pretty damn cold here right now to pull it apart. Anyone else seen this before I dive in?

If the light is out and your getting a warning with hyperflashing, that's normal. Replace the bulb(s) and all should be good.
Usually someone posts that they're getting bulb out warnings with hyperflashing and all the bulbs are working, luckily that's not your issue.
