I noticed that when i have my wipers on any of the intermittent settings...it works as it should....most of the time. Sometimes it will cycle 2 or 3 times in a row. Randomly. If that makes sense. What would be causing it? It doesn't bother me i just don't want them to completely stop working.

Not sure but i have the same problem.
I changed out the relay and it worked as intended ....for about an hour.
Then back to a mind of it's own.

there was a recall on the multi function switch, had it done on my 06 and fixed the problem. mine would start and stop and random times while on, and sometimes wouldnt shut off. It was a PIA during a snow storm.

I forget where I gathered this from, its not mine originally.

Wiper issue: when it is in intermittent mode, it will cycle randomly 2,3 swipes in a row, stop and swipe a couple times or sometimes stop halfway. Pretty much possessed.

Take the wiper motor out and open the housing....adjust the contact arms, clean off the old grease, clean the 2 contacts and re-grease with electrical contact grease and reassemble. Super easy to do...

1) Remove the wiper arms.
2) Remove 2 screws from either side of the cowl and 5 push tabs along the firewall.
3) With the hood open, bow the cowl to remove to gain access the wiper motor. There are 3 - 10 mil bolts and the 13 mil nut that you need to remove.
4) The housing on the wiper motor has 5 plastic clips that holds the back to the wiper motor casing....it comes apart very easy.

Under an hour to complete the task.

Had the same problems with mine, checked the motor--it was fine. There are 2 relays in the power dist box under the hood (relay box). These BOTH have to be changed, swap them with 2 of the others-----problem solved

Update----relays #55 & #60
