So I'm finally gonna install my intune next weekend that I got from a member here and was wondering what tweaks I should do to help it. Gonna just put the 87 tune on and run it til I can get my custom tune done. I have no major mods to speak of, what I've done you can see below. The only other tuner I've played with was a Superchips and all I adjusted was top speed and mds off. I think the Diabloay have some other adjustments that I'm not familiar with. Any help appreciated. Also any other tips on installing the tune?

Add 20% to the throttle response and it will be a different truck

Yup...throttle boost by 20%. Other than that, the rest will be taken care of with the custom tune.

+1 for the comments on throttle boost.

FYI, depending on who's doing your custom tune, after you get it, you may not need to add any additional boost, as they can build some into their tune.

I asked Jay about the throttle boots and he said it was layered at different percentages between the different gears. Get a custom tune and don't mess with it.

Ok. I was asking about changes to the canned tune. Once I got a custom I wasn't gonna mess with that.

You can raise your shift points a couple 100 rpms but the throttle boost is awesome.

Ok. I was asking about changes to the canned tune. Once I got a custom I wasn't gonna mess with that.

The best times I got with a canned tune was with the throttle boost at 10%, 1-2 shift point at 2150, 2-3 shift point at 2200. Not sure why but my truck loved the 10% over the 20% throttle boost. Made the throttle Very sensitive. I also turned off MDS and the speed limiter.
