Intune wont shift @ 6200

like the title says, I for the life of me cant get this hemifever *93 tune to shift at 6200 from 1st to 2nd. I have changed the WOT shift pts and it still shifts a 5800. im about at my wits end with this truck. what is the trick if any? thanks, matt

Have you tried increasing the rev limiter?

I raised the rev limiter 600 RPMs. thats the most it would let me do. The new tune is niiiice though. For those that havent tried the Throttle booster its a nice feature. Mine is set to 12%.

That was the recommendation from a different forum.

I shift at 6100. Hemifever had to adjust my trinity tune to get it to shift there.....wouldn't do it if I set it.

yea for some reason it wont do it if you adjust it you would have to probably get it done through a custom tune

Sean recommended I keep it at 5800 - 5900 with 3.55s. So if you have those gears I wouldn't worry about it.

3k stall, vr intake, *93 tune, 3.90 gear w LSD, tstat, efan, catch can, muffler delete, some other small things. headers will be in a few weeks. im working on some fat meats in the back along with a custom wheel setup. prob going to the track here on friday. no power at 6200 eh....

Lol yep, you need to be shifting higher. Hit up Sean for a custom tune after you get the longtubes installed.

i emailed him and he told me to make sure my tuner is updated and completely uninstall and reinstall the new tune.

btw greychevy im looking at cracking that 13.00 mark. this summer it should happen.

I'll have to see if I can talk my wife into going. If your not busy sat Jay(PullYa) and I and maybe a couple others are going to Southside meatmarket in Elgin around 11:30. It's about another 45 min up 95 though. Little bit of a drive for ya.

So after updating and reloading......

the *93 hemifever tune the truck rips to 6200 RPM. WOW is all i have to say. gonna drop the spare and clean it out for the track tomorrow.
