iPhone not notifying text messages

I have a S10+ and my text message notification works fine.
Wife just upgraded to iPhone 11 Pro Max. Bluetooth pairs fine. Incoming and outgoing calls work as expected.
However when someone texts my wife , Ram/Uconnect/radio doesn’t notify someone texted like my android does.

Any ideas ?

Go into settings - Bluetooth on the iPhone and open the Uconnect connection settings. There’s a toggle in there to show notifications you need to turn on.

This is why I stay with Android. Ha

Yep her settings were off. As soon as I toggled on, boom. She can now drive the truck with no issue.
