WHEN INSTALLING TWO LED REVERSE LIGHTS TO MY BACK BUMPER, I WANT TO TAP THE WIRES TO MY TRAILER WIRE HARNESS. IS A RELAY REQUIRED?

That’s is what I wanted to hear. Do you know what color the wire is on a 2021 Ram ? I know it’s the center wire on the 7 plug

2021 Ram Laramie 7 pin connector center wire is brown on truck. Look under truck there is a plastic retainer just pop it off and confirm. Thanks

I took the pin out of the 7 pin connector, ran a wire through the rubber seal around the wire I removed and souldered it to the pin and reinstalled pin in connector. Did same with ground wire.
