Is it the key fobs or a sensor in the truck?

I have a 2015 Laramie and both key fobs have a hard time unlocking the truck. I've tried putting in fresh batteries for both and still have a hard time. I have to take them apart re-seat the battery and then put it back together to unlock...sometimes this work as i have to press the button multiple times to finally unlock. And then still it won't push start unless i directly press the key fob unto the start button.

Same thing happens when i try unlock the truck when using the key fob in my pocket with the door handle sensor.

Do you have AlfaOBD?
Does the truck have proximity handles?

I think the first thing to do is clean the green board inside of the FOBs

Cleaning the other type FOB, works the same way

battery not needed in smart FOB, once inside

I'm leaning toward your fobs both have failing buttons.

It's trivial to add another fob if you have Alfa + a ****** fob.

The pin code can (Well at least it used to be) retrieved from the dealer OR there's apps you can use to pull your own in.
