This is all for a 2014 Ram 1500, 5.7L Hemi 4X4

Front diff. takes 1.25 qts?
Transfer case takes 1.5 qts?
Rear diff. takes 2.5 quarts?

Are these numbers close to being correct? A search yielded confusing results. Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

-Mike

Yeah pretty much, just short of 2 qts for my front diff, just over 2 for rear and about 1 1/2 like you said for transfer case

Does the front diff. require a small 4 or 5oz bottle of LSD fluid? Thanks in advance.

How do you like the ATI 15% under-drive pulley & the Hellwig sway bar? Was looking at the sway but I like the pulley too. See what you started? lol.... :)

Oh, all the fluid came in today. Probably do it Sunday mid-afternoon after I go show my step dad a 1947 Ford Coupe.

What fluid, all modern gear fluids require no modifier. Transfer case, remove top bolt first.

ATI underdrive doesn't free up a whole lot of power (stock) but did seem to make the engine smoother. Could have been a placebo effect.
Hellwig helped but not as much as going from 17" to 20" wheels did. With 20" stock wheels and tires and the Hellwig, the rear feels stable and planted in almost all conditions - I can't say the same when it had 17" wheels, 1 size up tires, stock sway bar.
That combo felt flat out dangerous if you hit a bump while going around a bend.

I have 20's on the truck now and was thinking of going with that rear sway bar and better end links. Thank you for the reply.

The bar will help more if you run loaded or towing a decent load. End links and poly bushings might help more, I have all stock links and bushings.
Also, I have mine set on the middle hole so there is more adjustment to be had but I haven't felt the need for it so far.

You have to dig really hard but you can still find fluid without LSD additive. I just had to get some for the wavetrac I installed in my 350z. And actually since you mentioned it, I looked it up and I somehow bought the 75w-140 Redline that doesnt have additive in it...

That's what I meant didnt say it right, all modern gear fluids don't need any more gear additive. They all have had it, even open diffs spec the all purpose gear fluid with lsd additive. Been that way for some time, even though manu's only say ls diffs need lsd additive, that really means if you get shudder after a fluid change add some, but you don't want too much either, so one big mistake is adding lsd to a modern gear fluid, that is indeed a double dose.

YUP!!!! That's the one I will get. Thank you! And thanks for the review of the Hellwig too.

Best regards,

-Mike
I have the Hellwig on my little regular cab shortbox,it's a okay bar,but if this swaybar had been available 9 years ago,i'd of bought it instead of the Hellwig bar. I've used the same Hellwig bar on my last 2 trucks,so it's been around the bend a few times, but this new swaybar is a better bar ,and will be what i buy if i ever need another swaybar;)
