So I noticed tonight that my passenger side projector lamp did not have the yellow/orange running led lights on. You can see the difference in the attached pics. I have the retro shop adapter harness as my Ram came with the standard reflector lights. I checked all the connections and everything was tight. I'm at a loss because they still blink when I click the turn signal on.. just not on all the time like the driver side.

Any ideas?

I uh, wish I could get mine to do that. Looks pretty nice. Not sure what is causing it though.

i had the exact issue. You need to take the head light out and check the metal pins on the adapter, make sure non are bent when you connect it to the headlight. Im sure this is your problem , it was mine.

And tada! Not only was a pin bent.. it was corroded pretty bad.. at this point I'm putting my OEM lights back in.. I don't need a faulty harness frying my factory wires.. Look for these Projectors to be for sale soon With the moriomoto HID kit.. the retro shop harness is going in the trash..

Yeah.. where the retro shop harness connects to the OEM harness it was corroded like an old battery. Not bad, but it could of gotten worse. The other side that was working had started to corrode a bit too.. don't know if it was the high power draw of the HID's or what, but I'm leaving it stock now. Seen plenty of burned up wires from bad light installs and I don't wanna end up being one of them.

After fixing the bent pin, the projector was working correctly though.

Wonder if there was a issue with the harness. Might want to let JJ know in case there is manufacturing defect.

yea I would not be selling the projector lenses bc of a faulty harness. JJ should be able to send u a new harness if yours was faulty. The projector headlights offer much better light than the stock duals/quads. If your going to sell the projector headlights thats fine, but I would be swapping in a set of projectors into your stock housings ASAP. Send the old harness back to JJ after talking to him on the phone and if he feels the harness was bad then you should get a new one for free honestly.

I don't know if the harness was faulty or not.. just that the pin was bent and corroded. I may have bent the pin putting them on as it was a tight connection for all I know. I'll hit JJ up, but I'll probably end up selling these anyways.
