It's BACK!!! With Extras

So, about a month ago I got in an accident and damaged my front fender, bumper and headlight. Two weeks ago I took it to my buddies shop to have him fix it and add some custom touches. While the truck was in the shop, I also got LED tail lights from a member here and put them in tonight.

Here is the before from the accident.



And after... I fell in love with the truck all over again. It is amazing what a little paint can do. The wheels got painted a matte charcoal grey, and the headlights and fog lights got smoked using PPG black and clear along with the third brake light.






And then I added the LED tails when I got home.

Left is the LED and right is standard.


Then both installed. I am very happy with the look and the reverse lights are also LED just like the top. The output is every bit as bright as my 19 SMD LED lights I just had.




And tomorrow my N-Fab Nerf Bars will be here!!

I agree. While it is nice getting new wheels and all that stuff, it is not needed to change the look quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, I would love aftermarket wheels, but this is more budget friendly.

love the truck, the smoked lights and dark wheels set it off big time, why did you decide to matte the wheels instead of gloss, its just my opinion but I think glossy wheels would have been the way to go

I always just give him free reign when he paints. Plus when I add the n-fab bars they are textured black so more matte so I think it will go nicely. Also it kind of breaks things up. Having the black mirrors and all that too. Do something a little different.

Also in the sun, they have a little more "pop" to them. If I remember right the color is actually a close mix to fords sterling grey metallic. Just in matte.
