Jba shorty headers

Hey, I just wanted to see if anybody has installed jba shorty headers on a 2500 5.7? I tried to install them on my 14 2500 and the passenger side header was hitting the frame. I called jba about it and they said I'm the first one with that problem. So I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or their product is be. The picture was taken with the engine being raised by about 3/4". Thanks

That install is on a rear wheel drive. Mine is 4x4

That's how the header look after about 50miles and a week on the truck. Ceramic coating dosen't seem to be doing it's job well...

I had to send them back. From what I found out they don't make headers for a 2500 4x4. Only 4x2. If you find any that work let me know. Thanks

I don't know if JBA has improved or modified the headers, but the right side header just contacted the frame, but I shimmed the motor mount bolt approx . 0.125" ...no contact, no vibration, seals well to the stock exhaust. 2013 Ram 5.7L 4x4

This is strange because I have numerous customers with 2500 4wd trucks that have been running the JBA shorties for years without a problem. Yours is the first I have seen with this fitment issue as well.

How many miles do you have on the truck? And did the Y-pipe line back up correctly, or did you have to force that into place?

I have 68k miles and they fitted the y pipe correctly. I would have to raise the engine by 3/4" for it to clear the frame. I didn't want to do that.

Sorry, for the late response....y pipe was not an issue ( pulled it back with a ratchet strap) ...145 K on the truck
