Jump Seat Console Disassembly

Afternoon Folks-

2016 Ram 1500

Ive Been a lurker for a while, and decided to join up to tap everyone's knowledge. Ive been running through the Search Function to try and find a post related to the Disassembly of the center console of a jump Seat. I'm looking to get into the guts to the 12v power source to splice some lighting into that power.

I was able to pull the trim from around the triple cup holder and remove the rubber cup holder inserts and that's where I hit the wall. Is it necessary to remove the carpet trim around the console to get further? Or is it even necessary to disassemble the whole thing to remove the 12v power? The internet has been less than helpful as it seems everyone has the floor mounted console.
