I finally traded in my ‘16 Hemi Sport and came home with a ‘25 Rebel. It’s Preowned with 13k mi. Love it so far. The pessimist in me now has me searching for the know issues I can expect. I did not buy the extended warranty but I may do it after reading up on the truck. If anyone has insight on common issues I’d be interested in hearing them

Nothing that you have any control over. The new electrical architecture is the root of most of the issues in the current trucks, and there's no preventative maintenance or anything that affects that. You either got a good one or you didn't. If you did, no problem. If you didn't, strap in and try to avoid the strap on.

Thanks. The fact it was traded in so quick def has me wondering. I may get the extended warranty just to sleep better at night

If your truck was built on Friday afternoon, an extended warranty may not be helpful if you need a truck to drive.

Who really pays the price if your truck becomes a mystery project at the stealership for weeks or months?

Be sure any extended warranty includes a loaner every time. And, if that's not in writing, it's not worth anything.

Best of luck.

Keep your money in the bank if you want to sleep better. Read the threads on here, including mine, about dealing with Warranty-by-India that runs Ram's extended warranty service.

13k miles in a year would make me think it was likely a business purchase unless known otherwise.

I agree. Enjoy the new to you truck. If we sit around a worry about what could go wrong we would all still be walking.

13K miles in a year, leads me to believe either a business veh, or a rental. A CarFax search will tell you which one.

But Don’t Worry, Be Happy.

I’m going to do the same. I still have about 16k left on the original 3/36 but I’m going to do the 5/100k.
